…and it goes! Last post I mentioned we celebrated my darling niece’s 1st birthday. It was a fabulous day at the farm and there were so many people to enjoy the day with. The hubby and I took oodles of photos (see below!) and we all ate cake (among other things).
Last week I had another cardiac check-up. It went pretty much as expected (which is great) and we left with a prescription the be filled and a follow-up appointment booked.
A few days ago I celebrated my 31st birthday. I cannot believe I’m properly into my thirties now. The day itself was much like any other with a few hiccups here and there. Curious about it & about how we celebrated the following weekend?

We travelled a lot over the holiday to spend loads of time with friends and family. We kind of live in the middle of everyone – we’re about an hour and a half (give or take) away from each group: both sets of parents, my sister & her husband (and daughter).. and a little further still from my grandparents. Christmas (and most holidays) have us travelling to catch up with both sides, and this year with Kasper was no different.
Be prepared for an overload of cuteness! 7 months of Kasper. Its amazing to see just how much he’s changed – how he’s filled out, how his eye colour has shifted from blue to green, how his expressions have gotten more wild and fun. Smiles, frowns, sleepy faces… This little wonder has stolen my heart and soul and I couldn’t be more happy about it. Continue reading 7 Months
SO way back in August I said I’d try to set aside some blogging time… good idea. terrible execution! Its DECEMBER now and Santa is coming soon.
I always love Christmastime, but I have to say that it seems like a bigger deal with a little tyke. Our son is going to be 8 months old two days before Christmas and I couldn’t be more pumped… but before I dive too much into Christmastime festivities, lets rewind a whole bunch and get caught up!
Hey loves, the last week has been mighty busy (is there no end!?), but we’ve accomplished a lot and for that I’m grateful.

Okay so this is a few days late because I put up the last post on my actual birthday. At least this way I can tell you all how the whole day went!
On Wednesday, February 1st my twenties were left in the dust as I took a bold step into my thirties. I am going to be completely boring and tell you I didn’t do too much to celebrate on the actual day… more celebrations are upcoming: a treat day at the spa today and celebrating with my family on the weekend. Read on if you’re at all curious!
Well I hate to say it, but Christmas 2016 went by in a blur. As i’m sure it did last year and the year before that. I still can’t believe that after all of the build up and excitement, its all over!
**warning in advance: not a short post!** Continue reading Feeling Festive?
Every Christmas since my hubby has been working at his current job, a group of doctors put on a fancy Christmas dinner for the staff and their spouses.
